Senior Technical Product Manager - Vault Core

About the Role

Thought Machine is on a mission to revolutionize banking technology, and we are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager - Vault Core to join our team remotely. This role is pivotal in our journey to eliminate legacy systems in banks by leveraging our innovative cloud-native core banking platform. As a Senior Technical Product Manager - Vault Core, you will work closely with engineering leadership to enhance our product offerings and ensure they meet the needs of our clients.

What You'll Do

• Own the Core Roadmap: Define and drive the strategy for Vault Core, ensuring it remains the industry leader in configurability, performance, and resilience.
• Be a product evangelist: Champion Vault Core both internally and externally, communicating our product vision and technical capabilities effectively.
• Represent the customer: Act as the voice of the world’s largest banks, collecting feedback and enabling engineering teams to focus on solving core banking challenges.
• Support client delivery: Collaborate with the Client Services team to guide complex implementations and align client requirements with technical capabilities.
• Develop best practices: Drive Product Management best practices and processes, ensuring alignment across the core engine domain.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in a product-led technology company.
• Proven track record of delivering deeply technical, API-driven, or infrastructure products.
• Strong client-facing interpersonal skills and ability to engage in technical discussions with Enterprise Architects and CTOs.
• Comfortable writing simple scripts in languages such as Python.
• Experience in regulated industries such as banking or financial services is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience as a software engineer or in a highly technical role.
• Experience building enterprise software or working within a B2B infrastructure/platform vendor.
