About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Senior Solutions Architect to join our team for a public sector healthcare transformation project. This role is based in Jersey and is not remote, but relocation is required for candidates from the UK and Ireland. As a Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering complex, enterprise-scale technology solutions that will significantly impact the healthcare sector.

What You'll Do

  • Design end-to-end solution architectures across applications, integration, data, and infrastructure.
  • Align solution designs with enterprise target architecture to ensure scalability and security.
  • Produce high-quality architecture and design documentation for stakeholder review.
  • Support Agile and waterfall teams throughout the full delivery lifecycle.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, regulatory, and data protection requirements.
  • Engage with vendors and system integrators to validate designs and ensure successful implementation.
  • Provide hands-on input during build, test, and deployment phases.
  • Support cloud and hybrid architectures, focusing on Azure platforms.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect on complex programs, particularly in public sector or healthcare environments.
  • Strong experience designing integrated, enterprise-scale solutions with hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
  • Experience with APIs, middleware, data integration, and modern SDLC practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery and DevOps methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with healthcare systems or large public sector platforms.
  • Exposure to the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure, Dynamics, and DevOps.
  • A consultancy or advisory background.
  • Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or similar.
