Mid-Senior Solutions Architect - Public Sector Healthcare Transformation
About the Role
We are seeking a Mid-Senior Solutions Architect to join our team for a public sector healthcare transformation project. This role is based in Jersey and is not remote, but relocation is required for candidates from the UK and Ireland. As a Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering complex, enterprise-scale technology solutions that will significantly impact the healthcare sector.
What You'll Do
- Design end-to-end solution architectures across applications, integration, data, and infrastructure.
- Align solution designs with enterprise target architecture to ensure scalability and security.
- Produce high-quality architecture and design documentation for stakeholder review.
- Support Agile and waterfall teams throughout the full delivery lifecycle.
- Ensure solutions meet security, regulatory, and data protection requirements.
- Engage with vendors and system integrators to validate designs and ensure successful implementation.
- Provide hands-on input during build, test, and deployment phases.
- Support cloud and hybrid architectures, focusing on Azure platforms.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect on complex programs, particularly in public sector or healthcare environments.
- Strong experience designing integrated, enterprise-scale solutions with hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
- Experience with APIs, middleware, data integration, and modern SDLC practices.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery and DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with healthcare systems or large public sector platforms.
- Exposure to the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure, Dynamics, and DevOps.
- A consultancy or advisory background.
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or similar.
