Mid-Senior Quality Assurance Analyst - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Quality Assurance Analyst remote to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with Cleo Consulting Inc. on a long-term project with the State of Mississippi. As a Quality Assurance Analyst remote, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications.

What You'll Do

• Support the planning, design, and execution of system testing on simple and complex implementations.
• Translate business requirements into valid test plans and detailed test cases.
• Collaborate with the IT department and business units to execute and validate test cases based on system requirements.
• Test software and computer applications to ensure they function properly and efficiently.
• Develop and share testing reports with the project team.
• Document new developments, including User Guides and Systems Guides.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst remote.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey test cases to stakeholders and the development team.
• Ability to collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, Business Analysts, and developers.
• Experience in writing test plans, test cases, and test scripts from scratch.
• Familiarity with user acceptance testing, functionality testing, regression testing, performance testing, and end-to-end system testing.
• Proficiency in creating diagrams, flowcharts, and workflows of data flow through systems.
• Strong understanding of software quality best practices, test strategy, and planning.
• Experience with Scrum Agile methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with database entity design.
• Familiarity with C#, .NET, PL/SQL, DevOps, SQL Server, Oracle, Visio, and MVC.
• Samples of previous documents created strongly preferred.
