Mid Data Developer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Mid Data Developer to join our innovative team at CI&T. As a Mid Data Developer remote, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing large-scale data ingestion and processing architectures. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality, governance, and security throughout the lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement data ingestion and processing architectures at scale.
  • Develop and maintain Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions.
  • Utilize SQL Server to create robust data solutions.
  • Work with Qlikview and Nprinting to develop effective reporting solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security at all stages of the data cycle.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate data from diverse sources.
  • Propose continuous improvements to existing processes and architectures.
  • Document solutions and best practices to ensure system maintenance and evolution.
  • Make data-driven decisions.

Requirements

  • Experience with SQL Server in table modeling, view definitions, and T-SQL programming (procedures, functions, triggers, etc.).
  • Experience with Data Warehouse solutions.
  • Familiarity with Big Data, distributed processing, and data integration.
  • Experience with reporting and processing tools like Qlikview and Nprinting.
  • Strong knowledge of data ingestion architecture and ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Proficiency in data modeling and governance best practices.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the financial market.
  • Experience with cloud environments (Azure).
  • Certifications in Azure or Big Data.
  • Knowledge of SAS, Informatica PowerCenter, PowerBI, Databricks, and Integration Services.
