Member of Technical Staff - Data Platform (Remote)

About the Role

At Anchorage Digital, we are seeking a Member of Technical Staff for our Data Platform to join our innovative team. This remote role allows you to work from anywhere in the United States while contributing to the world’s most advanced digital asset platform for institutions participating in crypto. As a key member of our team, you will help bridge the gap between business and technical uses of data, creating an easy-to-use platform for data and tooling across various use cases.

What You'll Do

• Drive data architectural patterns and platform design to enhance our data infrastructure.
• Build and maintain ELT models for creating warehouses and usable data sets.
• Manage large-scale data sets in both streaming and batch formats.
• Lead the adoption of data hygiene and best practices within the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create an ecosystem for shared consciousness and effective communication.
• Contribute to analytical design patterns that support data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• Experience processing a variety of data sources including SQL, PubSub, API-based, and event-sourced state into warehoused data sets.
• Expertise in translating business use cases into data models to support analysis.
• Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure and data services such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and conditions.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with automated metadata management.
• Familiarity with lineage management.
• A passion for working with large data volumes, particularly in the context of the 200 zettabyte global data landscape.
