About the Role
We are seeking a Medior-Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Backend Focus) to join our dynamic team at Foxtek. This remote position allows you to build scalable backend systems for a high-performance trading platform. As part of a globally active trading technology company, you will contribute to mission-critical systems used at scale. Recently acquired by a major US-based cryptocurrency exchange, we offer long-term stability while maintaining a strong engineering-led culture.
What You'll Do
- Design and build backend services and systems, primarily using Erlang, Elixir, Java, or TypeScript.
- Collaborate closely with frontend and product teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Review frontend code produced by an outsourced team, ensuring high quality and performance.
- Own features end-to-end in a fast-moving environment, taking full responsibility for your work.
- Contribute to a strong engineering culture focused on shipping high-quality products.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Engineer with a backend focus.
- Experience with Erlang, Elixir, Java, or TypeScript.
- Comfortable working with Erlang and willing to learn.
- Working knowledge of React is a plus.
- Experience building admin tooling or internal platforms.
- Ability to work effectively in small teams and contribute to a collaborative environment.
