About the Role

As a Mechatronics and Robotics Apprentice - Remote, you will embark on an exciting journey to learn and develop essential skills in the field of mechatronics and robotics. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to work in a complex Fulfilment/Distribution Center, where you will install, alter, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various electronic, mechanical, computer, control, and robotics/automation systems. You will be guided by experienced technical advisors, ensuring you gain hands-on experience and knowledge in this innovative field.

What You'll Do

• Learn to install and maintain electronic and mechanical systems under the guidance of experienced professionals.
• Participate in classroom and on-the-job training to develop your skills as a Mechatronics Junior Technician.
• Gain experience with PLCs and robotic systems, enhancing your technical expertise.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with team members in a safe and supportive environment, emphasizing teamwork and communication.
• Understand and analyze technical specifications to troubleshoot and repair systems effectively.
• Follow health and safety policies strictly to maintain a safe working environment.
• Adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating your willingness to grow and develop.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills are required; familiarity with troubleshooting is preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in maintenance is a plus.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks is essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary for success in this role.
