Material Handler II - Night Shift Remote Position
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler II to join our team in a night shift remote position. As a Material Handler II, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ice cream plant. This position offers a competitive starting pay of $18.00 per hour, with an additional $1.50 shift differential for overnight shifts. You will have the opportunity to earn up to 2 weeks of paid time off in your first year, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
What You'll Do
- Move materials and supplies throughout the facility using material handling equipment such as carts, conveyor belts, and pallet jacks.
- Stack skids or pallets in designated areas and clean up scrap materials.
- Conduct intermediate material audits to ensure proper inventory levels.
- Work in freezers with subzero temperatures for extended periods.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of related experience in material handling or a similar role.
- Ability to work in cold environments for 4-8 hours per day.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
