Market Director of Marketing and Communications - Remote
About the Role
We are seeking a Market Director of Marketing and Communications to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to work remotely while leading marketing strategies across our Central Coast Market, which includes seven hospitals. As a Market Director of Marketing and Communications remote position, you will play a crucial role in shaping healthcare communications and marketing strategies that align with our mission of health equity and social justice.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communication strategies for the Central Coast Market.
- Lead a team of 3 Communications Managers and 1 Marketing Specialist to oversee media relations, advertising, and public relations.
- Collaborate with Market Executives and Hospital leadership to align marketing strategies with local priorities.
- Manage brand reputation and enhance community engagement through effective communication.
- Regularly travel to various hospitals within the region for meetings and strategy sessions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing and/or communications roles, preferably in healthcare.
- At least 5 years of management experience with a proven track record in strategic planning.
- Experience in developing and implementing reputation management strategies.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience in digital marketing and social media management.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.
- Familiarity with community health initiatives.
