Market Director of Marketing and Communications - Healthcare
About the Role
We are seeking a Market Director of Marketing and Communications to join our team at Dignity Health. This is a pivotal remote position that offers you the opportunity to lead marketing strategies across our Central Coast Market, which includes seven hospitals. You will play a crucial role in shaping communication strategies that align with our mission of providing compassionate healthcare.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communication strategies for the Central Coast Market.
- Collaborate with Market Executives and Hospital leadership teams to establish annual marketing plans.
- Lead a team of 3 Communications Managers and 1 Marketing Specialist to oversee media relations, advertising, social media, and public relations.
- Implement reputation management strategies to enhance brand visibility and community engagement.
- Regularly travel to various hospital locations for meetings and strategy sessions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing and/or communications roles, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- At least 5 years of management experience leading teams.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans.
- Strong understanding of healthcare marketing and communication trends.
Nice to Have
- Experience in digital marketing and social media strategies.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
