Manager, Member Communications - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Manager, Member Communications - Remote to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with one of the nation’s leading health care organizations. As a Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing member communication plans that enhance member experience and retention for our Medicare Advantage lines of business. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S., tackling challenges that make a real difference in the lives of our members.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement strategic communication plans to support member engagement and retention.
• Oversee the creation of CMS-mandated member materials, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive effective communication strategies.
• Measure the effectiveness of retention and experience programs, using data to inform future strategies.
• Manage vendor relationships and fulfillment processes to ensure timely delivery of communication materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a Medicare Advantage plan.
• 3+ years of experience with CMS-mandated materials.
• 3+ years in communications, campaign management, or similar roles.
• 3+ years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of CMS Medicare Advantage regulations.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CMS Compliance and Regulatory Guidelines.
• Familiarity with the Texas Medicare Advantage market.
• Experience supporting Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) deliverables.
• Knowledge of CAHPS and Star Ratings.
