Maintenance Technician - Remote Opportunities Available
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lutheran Social Services of Southern California. This remote Maintenance Technician position involves performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks for our facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining the highest standards of service.
What You'll Do
- Conduct routine and extensive repairs and preventative maintenance on facilities, buildings, and offices.
- Perform tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and HVAC maintenance.
- Utilize work order software to maintain daily records of tasks and repairs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients through verbal and written means.
- Manage time efficiently to ensure timely completion of tasks and responsibilities.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in residential and/or commercial facilities maintenance.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook and other maintenance management software.
- Ability to operate a laptop and communicate via email and online meetings.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
Nice to Have
- Experience in landscaping and residential repairs.
- Knowledge of safety precautions and procedures in maintenance work.
