Maintenance Coordinator for Hydroelectric Projects - Remote
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Coordinator for Hydroelectric Projects to join our team remotely. In this role, you will participate in maintenance and renewal projects for hydroelectric facilities, ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of our energy production systems.
What You'll Do
- Develop and produce comprehensive technical files from the preliminary design phase to commissioning, focusing on mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Assist the maintenance manager in preparing and monitoring technical files for major maintenance operations.
- Act as a project manager for one-off operations, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Participate in studies or improvements to facilities, analyzing and investigating causes of failures to propose technical enhancements.
- Provide technical support to staff at power plants, facilitating their work and ensuring safety standards.
- Integrate and update our CMMS system, enhancing operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the development of our ISO 9000 quality system, ensuring compliance and quality assurance.
- Monitor and update technical documentation, maintaining accurate records for all projects.
Requirements
- Federal Certificate of Proficiency (CFC) in mechanics or equivalent training.
- Strong knowledge of hydroelectric production machinery and IT tools (MS Office, Project, CAD, CAM, CMMS).
- Several years of experience in mechanical maintenance or hydroelectric power plants.
- Proven experience in project preparation and management in mechanical or hydraulic fields.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Motivated, independent, versatile, dynamic, and responsible.
- Knowledge of German and English is an advantage.
- A valid driver's license is essential.

- Experience with ISO quality systems.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies.
- Additional certifications in project management or mechanical engineering.
