macOS Desktop Engineer - Remote Support Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a talented macOS Desktop Engineer remote to join our team at JPS Tech Solutions. This role is essential for supporting the buildout and expansion of our enterprise macOS environment, ensuring that macOS is offered as a supported platform alongside Windows by October 1st.

What You'll Do

• Provide Tier 2/3 support for macOS devices, escalating issues when necessary.
• Administer macOS devices using Microsoft Intune, including configuration profiles and compliance policies.
• Deploy applications and create custom scripts using Bash and PowerShell for automation.
• Develop and implement onboarding workflows for macOS using Apple Business Manager and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE).
• Collaborate with Workstation Management and Helpdesk teams to ensure seamless deployment and support.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for macOS support, deployment, and configuration.
• Assist with end-user support and train Helpdesk and field technicians.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience supporting macOS in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience managing macOS devices with Microsoft Intune.
• Proficiency in Bash and PowerShell scripting for macOS automation.
• Familiarity with Apple Business Manager and MDM enrollment workflows.
• Strong understanding of macOS system architecture, security, and user management.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
