About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Linux Server Administrator with French to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria. This role offers the opportunity to work in a global, multicultural environment while providing essential technical expertise for server administration. As a Linux Server Administrator with French, you will ensure that all supported servers maintain smooth operations through high availability and performance standards.

What You'll Do

  • Perform Linux server administration tasks, including server restarts, service checks, and syslogs checks.
  • Monitor system resource usage (CPU, filesystem, RAM) and ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop shell scripts for evaluation and automation of processes.
  • Manage systems through virtualization technologies such as KVM, Hypervisor, and LXC.
  • Identify and troubleshoot network issues with operating systems, databases, and middleware.
  • Process alerts in the Linux server area and define exceptions as necessary.
  • Coordinate with security departments and handle complex tickets effectively.
  • Collaborate with external resolution groups to meet or exceed service levels.

Requirements

  • B2 level of written and verbal French and B1 level of written and verbal English.
  • Experience with Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat, or similar operating systems.
  • Proficiency in shell scripting and system configuration.
  • Familiarity with database management (MongoDB, MySQL, Oracle).
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills to resolve server issues.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or information systems is preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with resource management, load balancing, and optimizing system performance.
  • Knowledge of virtualization software and technologies.
