Learning Design Specialist - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Learning Design Specialist to join our remote team at Corporate Finance Institute Inc. As a Learning Design Specialist, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging e-Learning content that enhances the skills of finance professionals. This role offers the opportunity to work with subject matter experts and apply adult learning theories to improve the learning experience. What You'll Do

• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create high-quality e-Learning content.
• Apply adult learning theories in course design to enhance learner engagement.
• Utilize e-Learning authoring tools to develop interactive content.
• Ensure all content meets quality standards and aligns with course objectives.
• Review and improve existing courses based on learner feedback and effectiveness evaluations.
• Work directly with business clients to facilitate e-Learning delivery.
• Meet content delivery timelines while maintaining high-quality output.
• Enhance learner engagement through innovative design strategies.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint.
• Experience with e-Learning authoring tools such as Articulate.
• Knowledge in finance and data analysis is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with SMEs and stakeholders.
• Experience in evaluating course effectiveness and implementing improvements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Creativity in course design and adaptability to feedback.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Content Management Systems (CMS).
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
