Learning Club Coordinator - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Learning Club Coordinator to join our team remotely. This role is vital in making a genuine difference in the lives of disadvantaged children and families in Australia. As a Learning Club Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering The Smith Family Learning Clubs, engaging students in their academic learning.

What You'll Do

• Manage weekly administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the Learning Club program.
• Supervise and support volunteer tutors to implement effective learning practices during sessions.
• Coordinate with partner primary schools to facilitate Learning Clubs.
• Ensure compliance with child protection policies and maintain the duty of care for all participants.
• Communicate regularly with The Smith Family Program Coordinator regarding student safety, health, and welfare.

Requirements

• Experience working with children and managing volunteer tutors.
• High level of literacy and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of issues affecting disadvantaged students.
• Commitment to learning and sharing knowledge.
• Ability to work flexible hours, approximately 3-9 hours per week.

Nice to Have

• Experience in educational program delivery.
