Middle Mobile Automation QA Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a Middle Mobile Automation QA Engineer to join our dynamic team at Obrio, a product-driven IT company within the Genesis ecosystem. What You'll Do

• Write and maintain automated tests in native mobile frameworks: Kotlin + Jetpack (Android) and Swift + XCUITest (iOS).
• Increase coverage of critical flows including onboarding, payments, and core features.
• Develop and enhance the automation pyramid to ensure efficient testing processes.
• Reduce flakiness and improve execution speed of automated tests.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring tests run on every pull request.
• Collaborate with the General QA team to automate manual regression testing.
• Work with automation metrics to track and improve testing efficiency.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in automation, with at least 1 year in mobile automation (Android or iOS).
• Proficiency in Kotlin + Jetpack, Swift + XCUITest, or Java + Appium.
• Understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD integration.
• Familiarity with Android SDK/Xcode, emulators, or real devices.
• Basic API testing skills.
• Experience with Git (branching, PR workflow).

Nice to Have

• Experience with modern native automation stacks.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
