About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Lead VMWare Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud infrastructure solutions, focusing on VMWare Cloud Foundation (VCF). As a Lead VMWare Infrastructure Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining these solutions for a global mining client.

What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain VCF solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Provide expert-level technical design and configuration for both virtual and physical infrastructure solutions.
  • Automate deployment processes, configuration, and monitoring to optimize infrastructure operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure solutions.
  • Stay updated on the latest VMWare technologies and best practices to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with VMWare and VMWare Cloud Foundation (VCF).
  • Proficiency in VMware products such as Aria Suite, Site Recovery Manager (SRM), vSAN, and NSX.
  • Hands-on experience with Dell hardware, particularly VXRail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the mining or resource sector.
  • Certifications in VMWare technologies.
  • Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages.
