Lead Operations Support - Remote Opportunity at Orica

About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Operations Support to join our team at Orica. This remote position will allow you to lead our regional asset strategy while ensuring the efficient delivery and performance of our assets. As a key player in our operations, you will work closely with regional and global stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in asset reliability and maintenance effectiveness.

What You'll Do

• Lead the regional asset strategy to deliver cost savings and process optimization.
• Provide engineering and asset governance across the region.
• Manage the delivery of regional engineering support services.
• Ensure all assets meet regulatory compliance requirements prior to mobilization.
• Maintain the regional Asset Sustenance Plan, including capital expenditure requirements.
• Drive compliance with maintenance management plans for all assets.
• Mentor the regional Maintenance Master Data team.
• Act as Management of Change (MOC) Approver, ensuring compliance with MOC requirements.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Approximately 10 years’ experience in operations management within a manufacturing or technical environment.
• Proven experience leading medium-sized operational or technical teams.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive safety and health performance.
• Collaborative working style with strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
