Junior Full Stack Software Engineer - FinTech

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This Junior Full Stack Software Engineer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading FinTech start-up that partners with major banks across the UAE. You will be instrumental in building financial services that enhance how people manage their money.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to create seamless user experiences, ideally using React.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable applications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in software engineering, preferably in a Junior Full Stack Software Engineer remote role.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with frontend technologies, particularly React.
• Familiarity with cloud services, especially AWS, is a plus.
• Domain experience in payments or FinTech is advantageous.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of database management systems.
• Understanding of DevOps practices.
