Junior End User Support - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a Junior End User Support professional to join our dynamic team at Eversheds Sutherland. What You'll Do
- Act as the first point of contact for IT-related queries, providing support via telephone, email, remote assistance, and face-to-face engagement.
- Log, prioritize, and progress incidents and service requests in line with agreed processes and service levels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
- Provide support for core applications including Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, and other business tools.
- Carry out routine administrative tasks such as software installations, password resets, and system updates.
- Escalate complex issues appropriately to senior members of the team or specialist support functions.
- Follow established procedures and contribute to the development of support documentation and knowledge resources.
- Maintain accurate asset and inventory records to support effective lifecycle management.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service and communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues at all levels.
Requirements
- An understanding of Microsoft 365 and common business applications.
- IT qualification or similar.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering a positive user experience.
- A structured approach to problem-solving with good attention to detail.
- Ability to work within defined processes and manage competing priorities effectively.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a corporate environment.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices.
