IT System Administrator /​ DevOps Engineer - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled IT System Administrator / DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this remote position, you will play a crucial role in managing our IT infrastructure and enhancing our DevOps practices. You will be part of a motivated team of developers and data scientists, working flexibly from anywhere while contributing to innovative data science software infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Manage and maintain IT systems, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab and Docker.
• Work with cloud platforms such as Azure, ensuring efficient deployment and scaling of applications.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and security.
• Provide support for system administration tasks across Linux and Windows environments.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Participate in regular team events and maintain strong communication within the team.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience as an IT System Administrator or DevOps Engineer.
• Proficiency in Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitOps.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and familiarity with programming languages like Java or R.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of German is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with MongoDB and CRM systems.
• Familiarity with data science tools such as R and R-Shiny.
• Previous experience in B2B marketing or digital marketing.
