About the Role

What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough investigations into suspected fraudulent activities, including bribery and misappropriation of assets.
• Analyze blockchain transactions to uncover insider trading activities and identify responsible parties.
• Detect policy violations through routine screenings and ad-hoc reviews, providing recommendations for procedural improvements.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit, Compliance, Legal, and IT Security teams to develop actionable insights based on investigation findings.
• Manage whistleblowing cases, ensuring confidentiality and thorough investigation processes.
• Prepare detailed investigative reports for senior management and regulators, outlining findings and risk mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on blockchain security trends, fraud methodologies, and technological advancements to enhance investigative capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Accounting, Finance, Criminal Justice, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in forensic investigations, fraud detection, or internal audit.
• Hands-on experience with blockchain analysis tools (e.g., Chainalysis, CipherTrace, Elliptic, TRM Labs) is a plus.
• Certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Cryptocurrency Investigator (CCI) are preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and excellent report-writing abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive investigations with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
