HR Projects Manager - Remote Role at The HALO Trust

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Projects Manager to join our team in a remote capacity. This HR Projects Manager remote role will support the Head of HR Operations & Compliance in driving project activities with a focus on HR audits, compliance, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Provide administrative support to gather information and conduct audits.
• Advise on best practices and legislation to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
• Track and close audit actions to maintain clear audit trails.
• Review existing policies, processes, and SOPs, and draft new ones as needed.
• Draft proposals for compliant employment contracts considering the complexities of various jurisdictions.
• Manage visa processes, including sponsorship.
• Support the review of the existing HRIS system (IRIS) and its capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, GDPR, and internal governance standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in HR, including HR Operations and generalist experience.
• Proven experience in contract design and HR compliance across UK and international contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects in complex organizations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience with visa sponsorship processes.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the humanitarian or international development sectors.
• Working knowledge of HRIS implementation.
