Senior SAP Platform Architect - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Join our team as a Senior SAP Platform Architect in a remote capacity! In this pivotal role, you will shape the digital landscape of tomorrow alongside our SAP Technology Team. As a Senior SAP Platform Architect, you will drive our (Cloud) architecture, ensuring we not only keep pace with technology but set standards in the industry.

What You'll Do

• Lead strategic business projects and ensure the implementation of our architectural guidelines.
• Proactively manage cross-departmental dependencies and navigate them with confidence.
• Identify complex issues within our SAP S/4HANA transformation project and develop sustainable, practical solutions aligned with SAP best practices.
• Act as a strategic partner to various departments, developing innovative integration scenarios and representing them effectively in diverse stakeholder environments.
• Oversee complex sub-projects within the SAP environment and coordinate the implementation of work packages while considering long-term corporate goals.
• Define standards and processes for the efficient operation of our hybrid SAP landscapes and take responsibility for their continuous development, including upgrades and installations.
• Serve as the central point of contact for cross-departmental projects, applying advanced theories and concepts to resolve complex SAP architecture issues.

Requirements

• A completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
• Several years of experience in SAP technology and architecture, particularly with SAP ERP, Fiori, SAP Business Technology Platform, and SAP Security.
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager or cloud-based ALM solutions.
• Practical knowledge in SAP Basis Administration and interface realization between SAP and external systems.
• Ideally, experience in SAP Process Integration/Orchestration, SAP CPI, and SAP Gateway.
• Excellent German and good English skills (minimum C1).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with relevant stakeholders.

• Experience in leading teams or projects in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
