About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Project Manager to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will lead various HR projects that enhance our operational efficiency and support our mission to strengthen the United States’ security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage your project management expertise to drive impactful changes.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage small to large-scale HR projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Research and plan proposed projects, identifying scope, resources, and timelines.
  • Communicate project status and outcomes to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Prepare funding requests and manage project budgets effectively.
  • Assign and direct work of business analysts and functional team members.
  • Analyze administrative operations and recommend improvements for HR systems.
  • Utilize established project management practices and tools to enhance project delivery.
  • Perform risk management to mitigate potential project challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Experience leading HR projects with demonstrated business analysis skills.
  • Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. DOE L-level security clearance.

Nice to Have

  • Professional project management (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of HRMS applications.
