We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at Cognita Schools, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our educational environment. What You'll Do

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
  • Coordinate interview processes, including designing questions and attending interviews.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Support performance management initiatives within client groups, driving HR projects that enhance employee engagement.
  • Process exit procedures for departing employees, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Participate in HR projects aimed at improving the working lives of employees and enhancing team collaboration.
  • Provide HR advisory services to school leaders, addressing employee wellbeing and staffing concerns.
  • Assist with life cycle events such as probation reviews, family-friendly leave, and visa renewals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as an HR Generalist or Business Partner.
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment and labor laws.
  • High degree of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Preferred knowledge of payroll processes and HRIS platforms.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics.

  • Experience with expatriate hires and relocation processes.
