Home Care Support Worker - Aged Care (Remote Opportunities)

About the Role

We're looking for a passionate Home Care Support Worker to join our team remotely. In this role, you will help elderly customers (65+) live independently at home. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, this Home Care Support Worker position offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a difference in people's lives.

What You'll Do

• Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
• For experienced carers, deliver personal care services such as showering, toileting, and medication assistance.
• Assist clients with transportation and social support, ensuring they feel connected and cared for.
• Be a friendly face and brighten someone's day with your compassionate support.
• Engage in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and career growth.

Requirements

• Live in or near the Eurobodalla region, including Batemans Bay, Bega, Bermagui, Bodalla, Cooma, Eden, Malua Bay, Moruya, Narooma, and surrounding areas.
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own vehicle.
• Be available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Commit to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training upon starting.
• Understand that this role does not involve disability support or working in a facility/nursing home.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in aged care or home support services.
• Certifications in first aid or CPR.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Hourly rate between $31.13 - $34.93 plus 12% superannuation and $0.92/km allowance.
