Group Finance Director - Remote Opportunity at QIMA

About the Role

We are seeking a Group Finance Director to join QIMA in a remote capacity. As the Group Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in stabilizing and transforming QIMA’s global financial backbone. This position reports directly to the Group CFO and is integral to our mission of ensuring financial integrity while driving transformation across our international operations.

What You'll Do

• Lead group financial control, finance operations, and compliance across a diverse and international organization.
• Own the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of group financial reporting and statutory compliance.
• Oversee the global performance and governance of Shared Service Centres (SSCs).
• Sponsor automation and AI adoption to enhance efficiency and insight within finance operations.
• Act as executive sponsor for Finance Transformation initiatives and oversee M&A finance integrations.
• Ensure robust tax governance and compliance across all jurisdictions.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Finance Transformation to create a scalable and data-driven operating model.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Group Finance Director or in a similar leadership role within complex, multi-entity organizations.
• Strong expertise in IFRS and experience with complex consolidations.
• Demonstrated success in transforming finance environments with fragmented systems.
• Hands-on experience leading Shared Service Centres and leveraging finance technology.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust across diverse cultures and seniority levels.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, founder-led environments and inspiring teams to adopt new processes.
