About the Role

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Graduate Trainee in Political & Economic Analysis to join our dynamic team remotely. This Graduate Trainee – Political & Economic Analysis role is designed to transition graduates from academic settings into professional environments, equipping them with essential skills for future success. As a Graduate Trainee, you will support the Political and Economic Analysis and Research Unit in various tasks, including data collection and analysis.

What You'll Do

• Assist in sourcing and maintaining economic and political information databases.
• Apply various risk assessment models for financial obligations.
• Compile comprehensive reports for country and industry monitoring.
• Conduct research and report on market outlooks.
• Collaborate with a professional team to contribute to meaningful projects impacting trade and investment.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Economics or International Finance is required.
• A postgraduate degree is advantageous.
• Applicants must be unemployed South African citizens under 35 years old.
• Preference will be given to applicants from disadvantaged groups.
• Must provide a medical certificate for disabilities if applicable.
