Global Store Design and Visual Merchandiser Project Manager - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Global Store Design and Visual Merchandiser Project Manager to join our team remotely. In this role, you will lead the global visual merchandising strategy and coordinate store design projects across subsidiaries and distributors. As a Global Store Design and Visual Merchandiser Project Manager, you'll ensure the consistent translation of the brand's identity into immersive and high-performing retail environments while supporting markets in implementing global standards adapted to local constraints.

What You'll Do

  • Define and deploy visual merchandising principles to support brand image and commercial performance.
  • Manage planograms, merchandising guidelines, and VM toolkits.
  • Ensure strong in-store storytelling and monitor VM execution.
  • Train and support local teams on standards and best practices.
  • Lead store design projects for all formats, managing architects, designers, and external agencies.
  • Validate layouts and technical drawings while allowing for local adaptations.
  • Act as the global point of contact for store design and visual merchandising.
  • Collaborate with Global Brand, Marketing, Retail Operations, and Finance teams.
  • Analyze performance and optimize costs while preserving brand standards.

Requirements

  • Higher degree in business, marketing, retail, store design, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in store design project management, visual merchandising, or retail excellence roles.
  • International exposure and experience working with multiple markets and agencies.
  • Strong project management skills and analytical mindset.
  • Proficiency in Excel, reporting tools (e.g., Tableau), planogram software (IWD), and design tools (SketchUp, AutoCAD).
  • Strong command of English and French; additional languages are a plus.
  • Structured, strategic, collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.

  • Experience in beauty, luxury, or premium retail sectors.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
