Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) - Healthcare Support Role
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Glendale, Arizona. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct care to residents, ensuring their health and well-being. In this Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement care strategies that promote optimal health outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents’ health status, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms.
- Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and other team members to establish goals of care and develop appropriate care strategies.
- Regularly reassess resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly, ensuring continuity and responsiveness to changing conditions.
- Provide skilled nursing interventions and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established care protocols.
- Administer medications, perform wound care, monitor vital signs, and manage medical equipment as needed to support resident health and recovery.
- Coordinate with ancillary services, including therapy, dietary, and social services to ensure comprehensive and integrated care delivery.
- Educate residents and families on health conditions, treatment options, medication management, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and empowerment.
- Provide emotional support, counseling, and advocacy to residents and families facing health challenges, fostering a trust and therapeutic relationship.
Requirements
- Valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where work is performed.
- CPR certification, AZ Fingerprint Card, and TB Test required.
- 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility setting.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and best practices in long-term care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements governing nursing practices and skilled nursing facilities.
- Ability to build rapport with patients through a compassionate and caring demeanor.
Nice to Have
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Certification in geriatric nursing.
- Knowledge of infection control protocols.
