Full-Time Receiver - Perishable Department

Kimberton Whole Foods in Ottsville is hiring a Full-Time Receiver for the Perishable Department! What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional service to all, including customers, team members, and delivery drivers.
• Unload and organize incoming deliveries for the Perishable Department efficiently, ensuring proper rotation of stock.
• Engage with the Perishable Team in stocking, back stocking, and other projects as needed.
• Inspect deliveries to verify that the quality and condition of products meet KWF standards.
• Match invoice details to delivered products and handle any corrections or returns as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the back stock area, prioritizing safety for all operating in the space.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience in a retail or warehouse environment with receiving and inventory management.
• Enthusiastic about customer service with a cheerful and positive attitude.
• Effective communicator who embodies the spirit of a team player.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
• Ability to lift, grip, and carry objects weighing up to 50-75 pounds frequently.
• Ability to work in cold environments and handle cold products for extended periods.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in grocery or food service.
• Knowledge of food safety standards.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
