About the Role
We're hiring Full-Time Night Shift Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our dedicated team at Symphony Care Network. What You'll Do
- Direct the day-to-day activities of nursing assistants, ensuring efficient and effective care delivery.
- Complete required record-keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart and document according to facility policy.
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians, adhering to established policies for drug administration.
- Make daily rounds of the unit, prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet the needs of our residents.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Illinois.
- Ability to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and respectful care to all residents.
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility is preferred.
Nice to Have
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Leadership experience in a nursing role.
