About the Role

Ciklum is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team full-time in Romania. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely while being part of a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting the operational reliability of our existing invoicing solution, which is a custom development based on Oracle Forms.

What You'll Do

  • Support and ensure the operational reliability of the invoicing solution.
  • Design and implement scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems for our applications.
  • Drive technical decisions and promote best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Design to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Proactively identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and areas for system improvement.
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
  • Strong knowledge of Java / Spring with experience in REST API, jUnit, Swagger, XML/JSON, and development tools like IntelliJ, Jenkins, and Git.
  • Proficient with Angular, including TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and Node.js.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Experience with agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum), as well as project management and documentation tools like Jira / Confluence.
  • Fluent in German (B2/C1), both written and spoken, in a professional context.
  • Upper-intermediate or higher level of spoken and written English.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of PL/SQL / Oracle DB is a plus, given the context of replacing legacy systems.
  • Experience with Docker / Kubernetes / AWS for deployment and cloud-native applications.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Grafana / Splunk.
  • Experience with test automation using Robot Framework.
