Freelance Technical Writer - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Freelance Technical Writer to create and maintain high-quality technical documentation for ng-voice’s IMS solutions, enabling telco operators and developers to effectively deploy and manage our products. This Freelance Technical Writer role offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to impactful documentation that enhances user understanding and product usability.

What You'll Do

• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
• Enable telco operators and developers to understand our products.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to gather information.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and customer-focused.
• Produce user guides, API documentation, and release notes.
• Develop tutorials and troubleshooting guides.
• Improve documentation based on user feedback.
• Contribute to internal knowledge bases and follow ng-voice’s standards for documentation.

Requirements

• Experience in technical writing, particularly in the telecommunications industry is a plus.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear documentation.
• Strong collaboration skills with subject matter experts (SMEs).
• Proficiency in creating user guides and manuals.
• Attention to detail and adherence to style guidelines.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with IMS solutions and telecommunications products.
• Experience with various documentation tools and platforms.
