Freelance Technical Writer - API for Banking Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a Freelance Technical Writer specializing in APIs for banking solutions to join our team. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the world while contributing to the documentation of our partner APIs. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation that is clear, concise, and user-friendly.

What You'll Do

• Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for partner APIs in both French and English.
• Ensure coherence and clarity of documentation to enhance the user journey.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams to gather necessary information for documentation.
• Engage with users to continuously improve documentation based on feedback.
• Harmonize product documentation published on the developer portal.
• Utilize your experience in API documentation, ideally within a banking context.
• Demonstrate strong writing skills in both French and English.
• Apply your knowledge of REST modeling and tools like Swagger and Postman.

Requirements

• Proven experience in API documentation, particularly in the banking sector.
• Strong writing skills in both French and English.
• Familiarity with technical writing in Markdown.
• Good understanding of banking operations and API concepts.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a transverse team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Interest in technical subjects and collaboration with IT teams.

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
