About the Role

We are seeking a Freelance Localization Linguist to join our dynamic team at Crypto.com. This remote position offers a flexible workload of 10-15 hours per week, allowing you to contribute to our innovative projects in the cryptocurrency and DeFi space. As a Freelance Localization Linguist, you will play a crucial role in translating and reviewing various materials, ensuring that our content resonates with our global audience.

What You'll Do

  • Translate and review user interface (UI) elements, marketing materials, help articles, and research reports to ensure clarity and accuracy.
  • Perform linguistic quality assurance (LQA) to maintain high language standards across all content.
  • Maintain and update glossaries and style guides as required to ensure consistency.
  • Fix linguistic bugs and errors to enhance the overall quality of our materials.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet quick turnaround times while maintaining quality.

Requirements

  • Native speaker with a high level of proficiency in English is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in localization as a translator, reviewer, or editor.
  • Strong understanding of grammar and excellent language skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Fintech, cryptocurrency, DeFi, and Blockchain terminology.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in all tasks.
  • Responsive and flexible, able to adapt to changing requirements and deadlines.
