About the Role

We are seeking a Freelance German Teacher to join our dynamic team at Careloop. This role offers the flexibility of remote work while supporting international healthcare professionals in achieving the necessary language proficiency to become recognized nurses in Germany. As a Freelance German Teacher, you will teach B2 level German, focusing on care language, both in-person and online.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and conduct structured and engaging lessons tailored for international clients.
  • Regularly monitor students’ attendance and homework to ensure progress.
  • Prepare exams that align with the lessons to assess student proficiency.
  • Offer flexible private courses and intensive B2 courses to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with a multicultural and motivated team to enhance the learning experience.
  • Enjoy the flexibility of a remote workspace while receiving support from the Klett Talent Academy team.
  • Work with a startup dedicated to addressing the nursing shortage in Germany.

Requirements

  • Fluent in German or a native speaker with strong command of grammar and spelling.
  • At least 1 year of experience teaching German as a foreign language (DaF) at the B2 level.
  • Experience teaching care or medical language is preferred.
  • Demonstrated pedagogical skills and a passion for teaching.
  • Motivated, independent, punctual, and organized with a reliable internet connection.
  • A quiet teaching environment conducive to learning.
  • Reside in Berlin to facilitate in-person teaching when necessary.
