Senior Legal Counsel - Remote Position at BVNK

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join BVNK, a pioneering company in the financial services sector focused on stablecoin infrastructure. This Senior Legal Counsel remote position offers a unique opportunity to work with a fast-growing team dedicated to transforming global money movement.

What You'll Do

• Partner closely with global teams including compliance, finance, and product to advise on financial services requirements and payments.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements such as service contracts and SaaS agreements.
• Review marketing materials to ensure compliance with legal standards and protect intellectual property.
• Assess legal risks and propose innovative legal solutions to business challenges.
• Collaborate with the Legal Team to support BVNK’s global activities and legal operations.
• Conduct legal research on cryptocurrency and fintech regulations, anticipating risks and advising the business accordingly.
• Work closely with the General Counsel on M&A activities and funding processes.
• Stay updated on applicable laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in legal counsel roles, particularly in payments and financial services law.
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency and fintech legal frameworks.
• Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across various teams.
• Proven track record of providing strategic legal advice.
