Freelance Event Marketing Manager - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Event Marketing Manager - Remote to help us deliver outstanding event experiences across Europe and North America. In this role, you will combine logistics, creativity, and cross-functional orchestration to ensure SimScale shows up brilliantly at sponsored industry events, smaller niche conferences, and owned partner events.

What You'll Do

  • Manage end-to-end event logistics for sponsored events, partner events, and SimScale-hosted activities.
  • Coordinate with event organizers, booth vendors, and design teams to ensure brand consistency across all event touchpoints.
  • Work closely with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Sales, and SDR teams to maintain and iterate the event playbook for high-quality execution.
  • Partner with Demand Generation on pre-event promotions and lead capture strategies.
  • Recommend opportunities to elevate SimScale’s presence at events, ensuring a strong brand representation.
  • Operate near-autonomously while integrating smoothly into the team dynamics.
  • Allocate time flexibly across the year, typically dedicating 1-2 days a week to event management.
  • Provide very occasional on-site event support as needed.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in event marketing or event operations.
  • Proven experience executing events in Europe and North America.
  • Strong cross-functional skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Comfortable using tools like HubSpot and project management platforms.
  • Proactive, structured, and excellent communication skills.

  • Experience with digital event platforms.
