Freelance Cambodian/​Khmer Interpreter - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking skilled Cambodian/Khmer interpreters who are proficient in English to join our team of international interpreters in a fully remote position. This Freelance Cambodian/Khmer Interpreter role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere in the world.

What You'll Do

• Provide interpretation services for clients in various settings, including healthcare and medical environments.
• Answer calls and adhere to the interpreter's code of conduct.
• Utilize your high emotional intelligence and communication skills to facilitate effective interpretation.
• Maintain a steady wired internet connection and utilize a USB wired headset for clear communication.
• Participate in professional training provided by the company to enhance your interpreting skills.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Cambodian/Khmer and English is required, with at least 90% proficiency in English.
• 1+ years of interpreting experience preferred.
• Strong communication and listening skills are essential.
• Ability to tolerate and respect diverse cultures.
• Must have a Windows 10 or Mac system to perform tasks effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience in healthcare and medical interpretation.
• Additional language skills.
• Previous freelance experience in interpretation.
