About the Role

We are seeking a Founding-Team Product Manager to join our innovative team at Sauna (formerly Wordware). This is a unique opportunity to work on an AI-first product that integrates with all user data sources. As a Founding-Team Product Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the product vision and operational execution. This position is based in San Francisco, and while we currently operate from the office five days a week, we are open to relocation support for exceptional candidates.

What You'll Do

  • Define product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the CEO and CTO.
  • Own feature prioritization and user experience decisions to create addictive products.
  • Run product rituals across micro-teams to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Manage operational execution by ensuring all teams meet milestones and stay aligned.
  • Coordinate sprints, standups, and rituals to maintain velocity across 8-10 small teams.
  • Make 50 decisions a day without approval loops, defining scope, timeline, and execution.

Requirements

  • Must be able to relocate to San Francisco or qualify for a US work visa.
  • Experience shipping products in fast-moving startup environments.
  • Background as an ex-founder, VP/Head of Product, or Senior PM with a proven track record.
  • Experience with viral consumer products or bottom-up B2B tools.
  • Strong operational rigor and urgency to keep projects on track.

  • Comfortable in 0→1 and rapid iteration environments.
