About the Role

We are seeking a Founding Mobile Engineer (Flutter) to join our innovative team at Aurora. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our CTO and Product Manager on a next-generation lifestyle operating system. As a Founding Mobile Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the mobile app that serves our elite clientele, including tier-1 founders and executives. This role emphasizes performance, reliability, and user experience, making it essential for you to ensure that our mobile application meets the highest standards.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship core mobile features in Flutter, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to implement detailed specifications.
• Own the performance, stability, and user experience of the mobile application.
• Integrate with backend APIs and third-party services to enhance functionality.
• Help define and maintain engineering standards for the mobile app, ensuring best practices are followed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building mobile applications, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• 3+ years of production experience specifically with Flutter, demonstrating your expertise in this framework.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality product and UI.
• Ability to implement clean, consistent, user-friendly interfaces that enhance daily use.
• Experience in profiling and improving Flutter performance, including smooth animations and efficient resource usage.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with backend APIs and integrating third-party services effectively.
• A structured approach to testing and debugging, ensuring reliability in the application.
• Clear communication skills, especially regarding trade-offs and constraints in development.
