Financial Reporting and Consolidation Manager - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a Financial Reporting and Consolidation Manager to join our dynamic finance team at Barrière. This remote financial reporting and consolidation manager position is a unique opportunity to contribute to our financial strategy during a pivotal time in our fiscal year. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the budgeting process, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and consolidating financial data across our operations.
What You'll Do
- Lead the budgeting process by collaborating with local controllers to construct their budgets effectively.
- Aggregate budget data, challenge forecasts, and analyze variances against historical data and strategic objectives.
- Prepare summaries and presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Supervise and facilitate monthly and quarterly financial closings.
- Produce consolidated management reports (P&L, Cash Flow, Capex) within deadlines.
- Conduct cross-functional analyses on the performance of various business units.
- Participate in the preparation of consolidated financial statements (French standards / IFRS).
- Ensure reconciliation of intra-group transactions and analyze perimeter variations.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Finance, Management Control, or Audit.
- 5 to 7 years of solid experience in auditing and/or within a Reporting/Consolidation department.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting processes and financial consolidation tools (e.g., BFC, HFM, TM1).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel is essential; knowledge of Workday Adaptive is a plus.
- Recognized for your rigor and synthesis skills, with the ability to educate operational teams.
- Adaptability to quickly become autonomous in this transitional role.
