About the Role

This remote Financial Generalist position is crucial for ensuring that our police force can effectively and securely address critical tasks. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our new domain, where we consolidate all applications and IT projects related to international operations.

What You'll Do

• Establish an overview of the financial status of various sections and the overall domain.
• Monitor operational expenses and ensure timely invoicing.
• Contribute to process optimization and workflow enhancements.
• Act as the point of contact for forecasts and budget follow-ups with the central finance team.
• Prepare management reports and financial analyses to support decision-making.

Requirements

• Educational background in finance or social sciences, or relevant administrative experience in public sector finance.
• Strong numerical skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to work under deadlines while maintaining a structured and detail-oriented approach.
• Experience or interest in finance and controlling, particularly within IT project and operational finance.
• Familiarity with governmental financial management is advantageous but not mandatory.
