About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Representative to join our team at KASCO. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and support to our customers in the meat processing and retail food industries. What You'll Do

  • Perform maintenance and preventative maintenance on food processing equipment, including band saws, meat grinders, and slicers.
  • Conduct safety audits on customer equipment to ensure compliance and safety standards.
  • Maximize sales through effective delivery and sale of KASCO products and services during customer visits.
  • Prospect new business opportunities within your territory, targeting independent specialty stores and small chains.
  • Provide technical support to customers on the proper use of equipment and maintain inventory control at customer locations.
  • Manage your route territory efficiently, ensuring timely service and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize technology, including laptops and tablets, to produce invoices and manage orders effectively.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a professional image of KASCO at all times.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; business or trade school education preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with related technician repair skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and rapport with customers.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong entrepreneurial drive.
  • Ability to operate electronic devices and manage inventory effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately.
