About the Role

We are seeking a Facility Manager to join Vonovia Immobilienservice GmbH in a remote capacity. As a Facility Manager, you will represent Vonovia as the owner on-site and be the first point of contact for our tenants. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our residential properties and providing excellent service to our residents.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the primary contact for tenants, addressing their concerns and inquiries regarding housing.
  • Organize your daily work routine on-site, managing appointments with tenants and conducting inspections.
  • Ensure cleanliness and order in residential complexes, delegating maintenance issues to appropriate service providers.
  • Monitor and document the work of internal and external service providers, such as landscaping and cleaning services.
  • Oversee the handover and acceptance of apartments, ensuring all standards are met.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with ideally a completed vocational training.
  • First professional experience in property management is desirable; however, career changers are also welcome.
  • Good German language skills, both written and spoken; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Basic IT skills and proficiency in using mobile devices.
  • Possession of a Class B driver's license and ideally your own vehicle.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy towards tenant concerns.
  • Strong customer service orientation, confident demeanor, and conflict resolution skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a similar role within the real estate sector.
  • Knowledge of property management software.
