What You'll Do
- Maintain high customer service awareness by focusing on guests in all hotel food and beverage facilities, including restaurants, bars, room service, and takeout.
- Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues, taking personal responsibility and initiative to solve problems and create a positive impact.
- Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve hotel operations and environment procedures.
- Proactively promote Hilton's services and facilities to guests and clients.
- Ensure safety for yourself and others while fulfilling all duties and responsibilities.
- Be knowledgeable about the food and beverage menu and provide detailed explanations to guests.
- Understand dining requests and make appropriate suggestions.
- Consult with managers to agree on actions to improve customer service and execute them.
- Propose menus that cater to a variety of nationalities.
- Be familiar with all menus within the hotel and recommend other outlets to guests.
- Actively check team members' product knowledge during each shift.
- Execute procedures and processes to ensure all areas of the restaurant meet required standards during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
- Check reservation status for the day and ensure the restaurant and team members are prepared for table settings and large bookings.
- Assist bartenders and kitchen members as needed and carry out tasks as requested by the manager.
- Explain shift details to all team members.
- Greet guests with a smile, assist with coats and bags, and introduce yourself.
- Guide guests to their tables.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and questions, confirming with the manager if unsure.
- Ensure all service procedures are executed to required standards.
- Confirm that all areas are cleaned and maintained according to operational procedures.
- Supervise daily restaurant rosters, ensuring they align with changing business levels and make necessary adjustments to meet F&B team service standards and budget goals.
- Manage labor assigned to each shift, meeting customer expectations while achieving desired labor costs.
- Assist the restaurant manager in conducting all members' onboarding and on-the-job training.
- Provide constructive feedback on performance after every shift to enhance team members' skills and confidence.
- Demonstrate professional skills and lead by example, providing leadership and direction to all team members during shifts.
- Ensure shift checks, handovers, and briefings are conducted effectively.
- Perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned. You may also assist other departments in the hotel as directed by your supervisor.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of supervisory experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
- Motivated with a passion for all tasks, eager to learn new skills and knowledge to improve personal performance.
- Flexible and responsive to changing requirements, including requested tasks.
- Maintain a high team spirit by collaborating and supporting colleagues to achieve team goals.
- Strong leadership and training skills.
